Mavis Staples Named Living Blues Female Blues Artist of the Year

Mavis Staples has been named the Female Blues Artist of the Year by Living Blues magazine as a part of their 25th annual Living Blues Awards. This is Mavis' second time receiving this award with her first coming in 2011 when she also won Outstanding Blues Singer.
